It would be an understatement to say I'm thrilled with the Bohr Models that all Foundations of Science students created this month. Their hard work has allowed us to hang a Periodic Table on the ceiling of our classroom and the hallway outside of our classroom.
We have 93 total elements on display, with the themed Bohr Models providing 3D examples of atomic structure. Each one shows how many protons and neutrons are found in the nucleus of a typical atom of that element as well as electrons orbiting the nucleus in their appropriate energy level shells.
I am so very impressed by and proud of all of my students' hard work, creativity, and craftsmanship, and I can't wait to use these handmade atoms to continue our study of Periodic Table trends and representative groups!
